The Delhi Development Authority (DDA) has launched the "Jan Sadharan Awaas Yojana 2025," a new housing initiative designed to give applicants from the Janta category and economically weaker sections (EWS) access to affordable housing.

According to The Indian Express, 1,172 apartments would be made accessible in various locations in Outer Delhi.

The registration for his scheme was initiated from September 11, whereas the reservation procedure will start on September 22. The program will continue to operate through December 21. The apartments will be distributed on a first-come, first-served basis, which is important.

Where are the flats located?

  • Narela – Biggest share with 672 flats for EWS (Economically Weaker Section).

  • Rohini – 97 Janta flats of about 28 sq. m each.

  • Loknayakpuram – 108 EWS flats with slightly bigger sizes (55–61 sq. m).

  • Other sites include Todapur, Dwarka (Sector 14 & 19B), and Manglapuri.

Flat size & price range

  • EWS Flats: 34.7–61.9 sq. m, priced between ₹9.18 lakh – ₹27.86 lakh.

  • Janta Flats: About 28 sq. m, priced from ₹14.59 lakh.

  • Loknayakpuram Flats: 55–61 sq. m, priced ₹29.6 lakh – ₹32.62 lakh.

If you are applying for EWS (Economically Weaker Section) flats, your total annual income (your income + co-applicant’s income) must be ₹10 lakh or less.

If you are applying for Janta flats, there is no income limit — anyone can apply, regardless of how much they earn.
