Tesla’s product portfolio includes some impressive electric vehicles, more commonly known as EVs. But in India, only the Model Y SUV is available as of now. According to a Reuters report, Tesla shipped some SUVs from Shanghai to Mumbai that will now be on display, with a booking option also available.
Design & Features
The Model Y is an electric mid-sized SUV. It has a lot in common with Tesla’s Model 3 sedan. Currently, 2 variants are available: Rear-wheel drive and Long Range Rear-wheel drive. Features include:

What’s next for Tesla?
Tesla is planning to open a second showroom in Delhi’s aerocity. It will also set up V4 superchargers in Delhi and Mumbai with a tentative target of 16 chargers. According to multiple reports, Tesla is currently developing more affordable EVs, for which India could be a potential market.
