The Yamuna has risen above the danger mark of 205.33 metres, hitting 205.75 metres at the Old Railway Bridge in Delhi. Authorities have issued flood warnings for low-lying areas, putting many inhabitants at risk of relocation. Continuous rains in the region have exacerbated the flood threat.

Heavy downpours have disturbed daily life in Delhi-NCR. Gurugram ordered schools and offices to close or operate remotely, while Noida and Ghaziabad reported significant waterlogging and lengthy traffic jams. The IMD has issued an orange alert for the entire region.
Flood Preparations
The Delhi government has established relief camps and started evacuations along susceptible riverbanks. Disaster management personnel, NDRF units, and local police are on high alert to ensure a prompt response.
