One of the most well-known streaming franchises in India is coming to theaters. The developers of Mirzapur: The Movie, the big-screen adaptation of the popular Prime Video series, said Thursday that it will open in theaters across the globe on September 4.
By posting a new poster online, the film formally revealed its September 4 theater release date.

A convoy of SUVs cutting through a winding highway symbolises Mirzapur: The Movie’s core themes, power, reflected in unchallenged political-criminal dominance; menace, seen in the ever-present threat of violence; and inevitability, reminding viewers that once you enter Mirzapur’s world, escape is nearly impossible.
Directed by Gurmmeet Singh and written by Puneet Krishna, the film is produced by Farhan Akhtar and Ritesh Sidhwani under Excel Entertainment, with Amazon MGM Studios backing it; filming is complete and the project is now in post-production.
